Had Macross Frontier's 2nd OST came out earlier, it would probably have stolen the award for best original soundtrack from Sky Crawlers.  I really want to see the OSTs win something. Triangler by Maaya Sakamoto was okay but not as fantastic as the Fight on Stage version by May'n and Megumi Nakajima. Duet = win.

Oh yay! I didn't know Sky Crawlers got licensed. I have yet to get a chance to watch it.
As for Macross, I like Lion more than Triangler. Still, it's nice to see the series get an award.

I don't think a television series can win anything in Sitges.
