no, this better not get licensed........it will severely hurt the market if you ask me right now. 8 straight episodes of essentially the same thing was painful to sit through.

The copyright on the video is wrong for it to be S2.

Since they've been doing shows in 'deluxe sets' with more episodes/discs lately, and given the nature of season 2, maybe they'll just release it all in one go. Which I'd approve of, although I'd still buy it if it was just volumes. Hell, I'd buy it if it was 8 volumes

I really hope Bandai dubs it. If they do, they could just have the first and last episode as a normal dub, and and have the other six of the endless eight saga as a gag dub, (like the ghost stories dub)

Agreed...except I don't want it to be like Ghost Stories. I'd want it to be a gag dub that still relates to Haruhi and not be totally different (I do still love the GS dub, though). I hope they've made enough money off those sub-only sets to do one. With the original cast of course. I mean that's why sub-only sets are produced, right? To have pocket money to dub a big show.* Maybe they should include a booklet that has all the different orders that you can watch it. That'd be a sweet extra. Better than Japanese CDs at least. I also agree that it's way too obvious. I mean, at least the Kannagi one made us keep guessing. *Do NOT interpret this as shot at sub-only sets. Thank you. I have a good friend who is a fan of the Harhui series and despite the fact he is a major fan of the series, he told me Endless Eight wasn't worth the wait at all.
Eight nearly identical episodes doesn't sound like the series would generate much revenue. Once one has seen the first episode, you've basically the remaining seven. This doesn't sound like a good finanical move on Bandai's part to me, but hopefully Bandai will make some revenue of this. |

Wow! I guess wishes can come true, but with a price to pay! People have been raving and craving for a 2nd Haruhi season, and they get what they want, only 8 episodes of the same thing come and people start hating it! Serves some people right, I suppose, for raving about the show to the extreme.
