The original OVA was a sweet, melancholic little show (if you don't hate moe), although incomplete plot wise as it hints and gives glimpses into a much larger back story. I'm kinda surprised at a doujin production breaking into theater(s). Was Makoto Shinkai's earlier works ever shown in theaters? Anyways, congrats to POP for the progress.

Great, an extra 7 1/2 minutes to make the ending even sadder... Though I guess I'd be lying if I said I wasn't looking forward to more.
