school rumble manga ending

I dont know if people would agree with me, but i think school rumble has a very very bad ending!The author chose a very open ending. Harima's life was useless, so are Eri and Yakumo's feelings! Whew, i just want to say that Smile Anyone with the same gripes as I do, fell free to post just to relieve stress! hehe

To me, it was quite clear that the author had run out ideas near the end of the series. The story goes nowhere, and unlike other comedic slice-of-life titles (like Azumanga Daioh / Yotsuba&!), the story was no longer funny either. He already had another series running in another magazine published by another company, so I wonder if he had already given up School Rumble.

Yes, me and my friend can see that. It seemed that the author just suddenly cut of the series. Haha at least i can see that i'm not the only one who's disappointed

Wasnt there a part 2 or something? But I did hear it is mostly filled with short stories and gags and doesnt continue the plot.

I want him to pick Eri. I really like Yakumo and feel sorry for her. But Eri's inner thoughts and how she gets all happy over little things he does is so cute. That and in the anime they had alot of funny scenes. I dont really read the manga but I read a few chapters. Mostly the Eri ones.

Hmm, well i kinda agree with you there, she seems happy just to see his face, anyway from what i gather, it's not really a continuation, but rather another,err, weird paradox using the same characters Smile

For a while, I actually did enjoy this series. The manga ending felt rushed and I wish there were a time skip. At least in Azumanga Daioh, the cast graduates and presumely goes on to college. School Rumble was a comedy manga to begin with, but I expected the ending to be slightly better.

As for the ending manga version of Azumanga Daioh, I haven't read it. I can only assume the cast graduates in the end as well.

Allready you got an ending. Here in Germany the series was canceled with Vol. 17.
