Wow, this is great, I suppose. Is Otogizoushi any good? I just love anime (or any film in general) that has the whole swordsmen theme and the like. Anime catgrin

Finally, we find out when Midori no Hibi gets released. I wonder how many DVD's it will be.

But $45 for it with the box? That seems too high.

Average Limited editon cost is 40 buck and that's with minimum extra. Something like Wolf's Rain was as high as 60. If you never brought a box before, than yea it seem high.

I wish they'd include a cute little toy or extra as well (as other anime distributors have been doing with their boxes). I would laugh so hard if there was a Midori hand puppet.

Can't wait for Otogi Zoushi, add to that the fact that Media Blasters boxes are nearly always something special (Metal, Wood, Fold Out, Bento). Now I just gotta wait for Amazon put them up for pre-order.

That's true, Media Blaster usually have unique boxes, so we'll see.

Also even thugh the retail is 45, you can always get it cheaper online at deepdiscount or animenation (pre-order). Bandai, by far has the most expensive Limited Edition.

The midori hand puppet is a very good idea, and is a cheap gimmick to sale more boxes =)
But what you do with your hand puppet is your own business.

People actually use Amazon.com to buy anime? Aren't they always closer to list prices then, say, deepdiscountdvd.com?

Amazon.com usually sells for 10%, 20% and 30% off when the product is relatively new. I can't give much info about pre-orders, 'cause I've never really paid too much attention to those. (I actually don't buy much off of the internet.)

I can't wait for 'Midori no Hibi' as well. Very Happy

I just finished watching it fansubbed and I couldn't help seeing how funny it was. Very heart warming too. I definitely want to own this one to share with others.
