A while ago I heard about a Les Miserables anime that was made in the 70s. I've been searching everywhere for information on it, but I can't find anything about it. Does anyone here know about it, and if possible where I can see screenshots or any other info?

I think you're thinking of Rose of Versailles. It's not Les Miserables, but it's set during the French Revolution, and from what I've read it's reportedly rather historically accurate aside from the fact that the heroine is a crossdressing bodyguard of Marie Antoinette.

Sadly, it doesn't seem to be widely available either on VHS, DVD or television.

Thanks for the help Smile I did some searching around, and found the original site where I first heard of it. It's here if you wanna check it out: http://www.pont-au-change.com/Media/1979animated.html It seems to be the first one you put down, Giiizmo. Smile Now I just have to find where I can get it on video/dvd.. Confused Any ideas as to where it's likely to be sold?
