Hello,
I was wondering how basic titles of anime are set up. If you take 2 licensed anime, sometimes you find that the title is the Japanese original, and the English title is stated as alternative title. Sometimes it's the opposite around. e.g. Jubei-chan - Secret of the Lovely Eyepatch <--> Jubei-chan - Lovely Gantai no Himitsu (alt.title) but Jubei-chan 2 ~Siberia Yagyuu no Gyakushuu~ <--> Jubei-chan 2 - Siberia Yagyu's Counterattack (alt.title) I understand than in many cases, the original is better known than the translation (like Ai Yori Aoshi - Bluer than indigo), or vice versa (Sazan eyes - 3x3 eyes), but is this always the case ? Or is it standard to use the English title is basic title if an anime is licensed ? |

Yes, that's the case. After all, this is an US English site. |

Isn't it more of a North American English site? Tempest is from Canada after all...
