So, we can check "Initial D" off the list of "Parodies required by all anime or anime-related entertainment". We had a Dragonball parody, didn't we? Doesn't seem like we could have gone this far without that. We still need an Ultraman or Kamen Rider parody.

Ah, I didn't understand the joke, but reading here it seems it involves Initial D, which is something I have never seen even the slightest bit of. So it's to be expected I didn't understand the comic, I guess.
