I was thinking why doesnt ANN have a General Stuff (Other Than Anime, Manga, Music) where people can talk about things other than what they have right now. So i am asking would it be a good idea to have one? It might be impossible for this to happen because this is an Anime only site.

This has been proposed by many, many users, even before I joined ANN. Please read this thread and the FAQ:
