About a year or so ago, Tokyo Pop announced, that in conjunction with a Japanese company, they were going to produce a manga version of Star Trek to eventually be released in the United States. Has this idea progressed past the idea phase? Or is it another idea that will not happen?

I've never liked the idea of mixing western stuff with a manga format. Stark trek.... I enjoy the show but a manga version? Ick.

I dunno... Star Trek doujinshi are quite impressive. Depends how it's structured and drawn and what not.
