Is Love Hina like FMP:F?

I was wondering if there is any anime like Love Hina.
Is Full Metal Panic Fumoffu anything like Love Hina?
Does FMP:F go anywhere like Love Hina?[/list]

Love Hina is not like Full Metal Panic! or Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu, but FMP is much better than Love Hina. There's really not much way to compare the two.

Full metal panic was 1000 times better thant Love Hina... at least for me... i mean... i did like Love Hina after the first few episode... but watching a guy getting beat all day long by the one he loves... kinda bored me... i watch the whole serie and all the movies cause i was moved by Shinobu and Mutsumi and was curious what will happen to them Smile

Full metal panic is pretty different... it's more of an action mecha anime mix with a little shy romantic comedy atmosphere here and there...

If you like Love Hina... try Happy Lesson.... it has pretty much the same pace as Hina... the story somehow different it's still reminds me of Hina... but this serie is shorter and more enjoyable since the main char isn't really a wimp that has special beside the fact that he is kind... i don't wanna spoil the fun of the serie... but Chitose from Happy Lesson is pretty fun and different to watch Smile

No FMP is not like Love Hina. Hmm I would check out tenchi muyo and stuff like that. Maybe try Negima when it comes out

If you're looking for something like Love Hina (but better), I'd agree that Tenchi is the way to go. Tenchi Muyo is still the best rendition and is well worth your time. Universe and GXP are pretty good, but not really to the same extent as Muyo - you might want to give them a try if you're interested enough after Muyo. Tenchi in Tokyo should just plain be avoided.

FMP?:F is much better than Love Hina, but it isn't really in the same category. Regardless, it's worth your time too.

For one thing, Fumoffu DOESN'T SUCK.

Secondly, Love Hina is pretty much a generic harem anime (and a bad one at that, but this isn't the place to get into any of that). It's one complete loser with a bunch of women around him that inexplicably pine for him and get wrapped up in various (repetitive, dull, unfunny, predictable, annoying) sexual situations over and over and over again. Fumoffu, on the other hand, is pretty much just Sousuke & Chidori, along with their friends, getting wrapped up in various comic misadventures. It has a very light romantic angle, but that's a purely Sousuke/Chidori thing and not "all these girls want a piece of Sousuke but this one over here is somehow special."

I personally did not like Love Hina, But fumofu on the other hand is a comic light show, In comparrison to the Voilent Head trip of bad assness the Full Metal Panic Was. I will tell you to watch it what you do is your own buisness.

If you are looking for something like Love Hina, then I would recommend Tenchi Muyo, El Hazard, or Onegai Teacher. These are all Harem Shows and romantic comedys. They all feature a loveable loser as the main love interest and a bevy of girls that are either in love with him or that want to beat him to a pulp. Or both. Tenchi Muyo is more comedy, El Hazard is a little more serious but does have some very funny characters, and Onegai Teacher is more romance. I hope this helps. To answer you question, Full Metal Panic and FMP: Fumoffu are nothing like Love Hina. All three series have their comedic moments but that's about all that they have in common.
