I'm not very sure where to put this... but I suppose it needs discussion too so I put it here. ^^;;
I went to check on Production IG's website, where it's said they'll be making the anime but I found out that that's not the case. Tales of Symphonia is listed under the "Game" section in their website. I suppose GameOnline (which is down, btw) is simply stating that Production IG is making the opening anime for the ToS game, like it has done with the other Tales series. So I suppose it shouldn't be listed in the anime section... Also, I'm not sure if ToS will be like Tales of Phantasia. ToP has another company doing the animation for the OAV while IG's the one who did the opening anime in the game. ^^;; I hope someone can check this out... so that Tales + anime fans like me will not be disappointed again.  ;;

After some extensive search, I'd have to admit that you are 99% correct.
(Start pointing fingers) Okay, who approved it oh-so recently? The 'add an anime' submission was based solely on a speculation of a news 1.5 years ago, not to mention that the source information site is now defunct! |
