Hello all, first I just wanted to say that Iam sorry if this has been asked before. However, I tried to do a search and it is broken or something. Since it keeps saying the results can not be shown. Thanks for your understanding.
Here's my questions. 1. I have been watching the Please save my Earth Ova's/anime and Iam really enjoying it. However I don't see how the story arch can be wrapped up in only six eppys. I just finished eppy four. So I was wondering if The manga went into more detail and if it is worth picking up. I think the encyclopedia said that there was 12 volumes? So yes are they worth picking up, and do they go into their 'Moon life' story more? Also regarding Wedding Peach, I have it all on dvd and well love it. So yes basic same question is it any different, plot wise. I mean I have noticed this one in the stores and it looks like there is lots of vol's. So if it is basically the same as the anime, where nothing major is left out, then I think I will not pick it up. However, if something major was left out of the anime then I want to pick it up. Thanks all so much for your help. |

The PSME OVA does not wrap up the story in anything like a satisfactory method. It is fairly faithful to the manga, but it pretty much stops in the eighth volume, with a few nods to happenings in later volumes (sorry if that's vague, but I'm trying not to spoil you, but yes, you learn more about the characters' past lives). The series is twenty-one volumes in Japan and finished; there are fifteen volumes in English and Viz has been consistently releasing a volume every two months, so they should have the whole series out in a year. I highly recommend it; it's one of my favorites, and shouldn't be overlooked by anyone with a taste for shoujo sf and fantasy.
