Ok right so I bought monster volume 2 on saturday and after reading it I was just skimming through it and I came across on the publisher page and blah blah all the credits that some scenes in the manga have been edited and viz has been given permission by Naoki URASAWA and im like ok WTF i thought the signature series has been comletely unedited can some one clue me in?????

 This again. There really needs to be a sticky topic on this. Viz has been putting that in ALL of their manga. While some titles may be edited, it generally just refers to changing sound effects and perhaps a little bit of the art cut off on the sides due to different page dimensions.
