I know anime production committees allocate budget and determine if a show is worth continuing based on a wide set of varying circumstances, but what were this show's projected numbers? Even if you don't believe the trackers, they tend to be well within the ballpark for most series. I think only runaway otome hits ever throw it so far off.

Dunno what the stalker estimates were, but the v1 DVD/BD sales were 6,550. But we have no idea what kind of numbers the DVD/BD publisher and/or production committee were expecting. And there have been occasions that the estimates have been notably off due to shows being store-front heavy or Amazon-heavy, throwing the estimates off one way or the other, and it's not exclusive to otome/fujoshi/aimed-at-women shows.
