Attacking the Dalek with a metal bar - BAWAHAHAA. But I do believe the death ray hole thing she blocked to cause it to explode is no where near that large. ... I don't even remember there being a hole.

And The Master!!!

Cute little fan project. Loved they used Classic sound clips of the Doctor.

Yay, this video made it here! Been seeing it tweeted and posted on a few other sites, but it's fitting that it's here.

He throws as much of the Dr. Who tropes as he can into it: Cybermen, Darleks, the Earth in danger, and not one but two Masters. It's also a nice touch that the subtitles switches from Japanese to English depending on whom was speaking.

Too bad there isn't a cohesive plot, otherwise it's a well done fan video.

I'm impressed with the endeavor. Visual and execution are still rough around the edge compared to other Indie anime I've seen so far, but I do applause the effort.

I'm not a Doctor Who fan, so I can't say much about the content itself.

I would like to see version 2.0 if the artist decides to make one.

Sweet little project! I've recently started watching Dr. Who (still on the first doctor) and seeing this made my day, even if there was no coherent plot. Very Happy

While the animation was great, the Daleks were animated BEAUTIFULLY!

Nicely done! Even if it is a little disjointed. From the size of that fleet the earth's in deep doodoo, again. But the doctor's there, so it'll be OK. For some reason the redhead reminds me of Lina Inverse.

Anime from the 19980s, huh? I wanna know where this future anime came from. And how many episodes are Doraemon and One Piece and all those other long-running series up to, by then?

What a coincidence. I was just watching the Doctor Who episode "A Good Man Goes To War".

Anyway, what a great fan-made anime. Especially the Cybermen and Daleks. Very Happy

Being a Doctor Who fan, I quite enjoyed that, especially the 80's anime style.

Wow, do you have a long way to go! Only thirty-one seasons left to watch. Smile

I would have to agree. That was a rather enjoyable video.

I hate to say it....this is about as bad as the Doctor Who TV Movie. Visuals look good, just the plot is......jumpy.

You should hate to say it, because he noted very clearly in the description "PS - for those complaining about total lack of story or narrative in this clip, I did always state from the start that it was only going to be an extended trailer with no plot. Think of it as highlights from a 24 epsiode series if there was one."

Oh, I'm perfectly aware! Wink I don't mind the pace actually. Although, I do admit that the pacing for one episode a day tends to stall due to me wanting to watch different versions of arc reconstructions put out by Loose Cannon and Chad Moore (Marco Polo, Reign of Terror, Crusade, Galaxy 4 to name a few).

They should have animated Tom Baker, but I guess the outfit would be an animator's nightmare, Jon Pertwee is still my second favorite, so that is OK.
Overall, great anime interpretations of the whole gang, cool to see UNIT again, pity "the Major" and "Sarah" passed away, the original gang is shrinking.
But I think I would have the same problem with a Dr. Who anime as I have with the new series, the low tech, almost "live theater" quality of the old series was somehow more "real" than the new version which looks so "cheesy" to me as to be unwatchable. Don't ask me to explain it, it is just me, I find both the original Dr (William H. to Peter D.) and "Blake's 7" (bonus points to anybody that knows this one) far more capable to "suspending my disbelief" than most modern sci-fi, go figure (I think it is the quality of the actors (most of them being from the theater made them used to brining in the audience into the story without the aid of SFX)).
