I'm not too big into PreCure, I only know bits and pieces but I have to say... wow, the first two Cure White and Cure Black (I think?) really stand out from the crowd... they're like the only ones that aren't pastel haired.

If you're referring to the image in the article, I highly suspect Black stands out in it mostly because she's against White's unique hair. Her own hair is more-or-less the same color as Rouge's and Bloom's.
