Still shocked that happened. Iwata was a lovable guy, and I hope stories are told of him so that he can keep living for generations to come.

aw man, a message from Yoot Saito. Minute I heard that name I remembered good ol' Sim Tower. In the game's instruction book (it was nicely thick) there was a messgae from Yoot Saito (as I've always known him) and it was, you know, the mid-90's.) Yoot's essay would go on to talk about how he hoped Games would bring former Rivals Japan and the US together. Seems Iwata kept good company.

Saito's message was pretty heartbreaking stuff. I hope he's able to get back to making games soon, as I really think he came up with some of the weirdest and most interesting stuff out there.
Still heartbroken over Iwata over here, but it's really beautiful to see this outpouring of love for him.

It's going to be hard adjusting to the fact that Satoru Iwata will never be able to appear in any future Directs, ever.
I will never forget Mr. Iwata. He indirectly made my life a real blast during the GameCube and Wii eras. I, and the entire world, will miss him dearly.

A fitting tribute to an incredible man. Rest in peace, Iwata-san. We'll miss you.

I would love to read Iwata's eulogy if it ever gets translated. A lot of these tributes and reminiscences are both very touching and interesting.

Still sad about his departure, and I will be for a long time I fear.
