I finished that series just recently and I really liked it. First I had some technical difficulties but after those I found this manga very enjoyable and visionary.
I haven't read any educational comics before and I had an image these can't be vety interesting. At least in this case I was wrong. The story was put together skillfully and I liked the characters as well. Educational parts were interesting but I have to admit that I'm interested about medicine and a history of science.
Is there any other free and legal short manga series like that available online? I would be very grateful of any tips.

Thank you, enurtsol, for the tip. I checked your link and publishers (No Starch Press) website but it seems those educational manga are not free. There were many interesting topics in the published volumes, like physiology, biochemistry and molecular biology, but I'm afraid I have no money to start to read those volumes.
