The new theme sounds bad. Sounds generic.
The film still looks bad also...I already mentioned how terrible the plot was, but what is with that weird thing with the witch and horse/zebra dancing with those chibi Precure dancing there? And that bear from Mahou Tsukai Precure looks like a Care Bear wannabe. Animation looks lacking in some ways, those rings that cover the Precure (and Cure Miracle looks like Cure Flora 2.0, so LAZY!) look bad. Even the description sounds more like something that would fit in MLP FiM (and MLP once had a pony designed after Prince and Michael Jackson, no joke) than Precure.... It just looks....weird...

Do you even watch Precure? it looks like a talking teddy bear... because it IS a talking teddy bear. In regards to the movie, it isn't meant to compete with some high content Miyazaki flick or whatever example you want to bring out, the Precure crossover movies have been silly romps for a while now, the GO! Princess crossover was overly silly itself. My personal favorite crossover film was the Hearcatch season's, and even that was light hearted. |

I have glimpsed around at the Precure series and liked what I saw, but most of the newer material hasn't been good.
The reason why I said "Care Bear wannabe" is because during the transformation of Mahou Tsukai Precure (which I'm thinking "Really? We already have Mahou Tsukai Sally!"), a rainbow heart appears on its tummy, and the only other thing that comes to mind is, well Care Bears. I wasn't expecting Miyazaki levels either, but the second trailer for this film is just.......weird.
