Just finished reading the book. It wasn't as good as Harmony but I still really, really liked it. Project Itoh is starting to remind me a lot of Chuck Palahniuk in that he really is a master of dark and depressing pessimist poetry. Harmony was so structurally similar to Fight Club (a first person narrative from a narrator who is intensely cynical and somewhat sociopathic who by chance happens to meet a super-charismatic revolutionary figure) I was almost expecting it to have the same twist at the end. In any case, I cannot wait for this movie!
