Damn, if only the gameplay is similar to Kingdom Hearts than Dynasty Warrior I would play this game.

So, what's your point? KH is more enjoyable. You can make strategic move with KH while DW type gameplay basically charging towards enemies non stop without rest. I played both game by the way.

Yeah the game play is a big minus imo. I'll probably pick it up cheap way after release.
Have they mentioned anything about masters being playable? This is related to Extra so I think that rules out Shiro (but we do get Heroic Shiro), Kotomine, and Bazett. Rin is in Extra, but iirc she never fights herself.
