You know, I initially wrote these games off as being rather silly but I enjoyed Peach Beach Splash much more than I think I should have. I'll also mention that game was the first time I played Senran Kagura -anything. The battle modes for that game is like a cross between classic Mario Kart & classic Quake - with water guns & breasts thrown in - and somehow it all comes together and works surprisingly well. There's a lot of games that have tried arena "deathmatches" that don't work as well as PBS. Although the other modes where you dress characters up could probably turn some away I found the ability to customize every single character to whatever tastes you have an enjoyable feature ("You get glasses! You get glasses! Everyone gets glasses!!").
I'm getting a suspicion that the other games that don't deal with fighting one another won't deliver the same enjoyment gameplay-wise.

Great video. Just wish the light wasn't there.
