Surprising they're willing to do a successor to the 3DS with the Switch being out. Three handhelds in the market on top of mobile games is a bit much.

The middle of the road idea here would be a Switch Jr. or something - a smaller, portable only Switch.

I would be interested in that. I use my Switch as a console and it's solid as that but the size makes it not usable as a portable as frequently as my 3DS and Vita can be. A smaller version would fix that.

The Switch is a successor to the Wii U not the 3DS and is first and foremost a console that can switch to a handheld.
