Well, they directly revealed the bosses name and identity, we know him since the early volumes. I think that's a bit more than just "begin to unmask". But it's true that there are still a lot questions.
I still think we are already in the final "arc" if you sort the series in rough arcs, like haibara arc, vermouth arc, kir arc and so on.
I can see the manga ending during the next 4-5 years.
