I really only know about this guy and his book from from the Book Girl LN series where both are discussed extensively. While I enjoyed that series I doubt it's enough to make me want to watch this movie.

This ought to be a splash hit! Sorry, had to go there. Emerje, one of the lead characters in the anime Bungo Stray Dogs is named after and based rather loosely on Dazai. It's an interesting series. All of the characters are literary figures with some super power based off of that author's writings and personality in some way...except for the "Edogawa Ranpo" character who has no super power; he's just an excellent observer of detail. |
