I wish him the best and would be interested if he starts up a new studio, but I hope he keep away from the Tales franchise. They were getting stale prior to the last one that was made without him.

Gonna be hard for him to ever get his name un-associated with Namco's Tales series. I had even forgot he became associate with Squeenix after he left the Tales series. Kinda hard to go from being the face of one major series of video games from one company to working for their direct rival of popular JRPG series and working on a project for them.
I wonder if they would have ever let him touch the Final Fantasy series; that would have been a laugh and highly interesting. Yet, that will never come to pass now.

Something must be seriously rotten inside of SE if Tales-man comes and leaves as quickly as that. He even knows how to produce a game on time and on a limed budget. Clearly the wrong skills to hit the big league... If there is anyone who needs to leave SE it´s Motomu Toriyama.
