I love this guys art style, I just wish his stories outside of TWGOK were better. That cafe one was terribly boring...

TWGOK got me into manga and holds a special place in my heart. Hopefully this new series lives up to it.

As much as people complain about Gotuben and Bokuben, the winning girl in TWGOK I think tops a short list of one of one of most WTF out no where, no one asked for pairing. Diana, Haku, literally any of the other girls, and he picks who he did. I only regret I bought the blu rays before the series ended.

This work is a hard pass for me. And it kills me, because Keima was one of my favorite characters with some of the most memorable quotes, ill leave it with one of my favorites "I'd rather be a discontent human, than a pleased pig."

^ I asked for it. Most of the people I've talked to about TWGOK asked for it, too. It seemed like the natural choice to make on both ends. Hope you like missing the entire point of the series.

Lemme jump in with a hearty "no". Any other character made more sense than Chihiro. These "people" you speak of seem to be addicted to splenda because she is just one of the most artificial characters in the story.

Ok, omega extreme hyperbole out of the way. I wish this guy luck with his new work since his last one was a stinker from what I've read.

Seriously though. Romcoms are not made to unite the people.

Agreed. She was the only logical choice given the direction the series took. I liked the idea that he chose the girl who he struggled with the most since she didn’t fit any archetype and instead was a “real” girl.

That said I’m excited for this. I haven’t read his non-TWGOK work but I love his art and storytelling style. Here’s hoping this is a great one!
