I suppose if I were feeling generous, Toh's goal of outdoing his grandma still has some validity since critics and customers might still assume he was only able to launch his own brand thanks to his grandma or that he didn't earn the attention. We've seen a bit of that with Chiyuki where she chases down modeling jobs, but then other people assume it was because daddy pulled some strings.
