Episode 1
That was fun. As people have noted, definitely a lot of energy going on. I'll see where this goes but it doesn't have the feel of a drop to me. |

I assume that this is another show based off of a Webtoon, much like with Tower of God, which bodes badly to me since I dropped that show a few episodes in. I hope this one does better, and I indeed enjoyed the animation/action that was present in this episode, although not quite everything. So far not much of humour works for me.
So far I do like Mira, that among the three main characters so far that are fighters one of them is a girl and so far has not felt like she is held with "girl gloves", like little sexualization. Although does seem weird that she went with a skirt if she assumed that fighting like would happen and that might be a sticking point. I will watch for now, just hope that I won't be disappointed and drop it like the previously made Crunchyroll sponsored Korean webcomic adaption. |

Episode 13 (finale)
Well, I finished it, not that I enjoyed it much. I am yet to find a webtoon adaption that I actually enjoy, and I am a little sad that these Crunchyroll originals are not something I can really recommend. Granted, I do think it is incredibly cute when within the show it says that Crunchyroll is a sponsor of the fighting competition, along with webtoon, I think that is incredibly clever. It just went completely off the rails, and for me that started fairly early on when it did some sort of plot about the female main character where she was getting married to some guy to get honor or something. For me it just felt really forced, with specifically her friends and sister not invited as a way to sell that it was wrong, and I was just really confused how this teenage girl was being allowed to get married to some adult, just felt weird. Some of the battle were interesting with their specific themes with the different fighters, but others just felt kind of off, sometimes uncomfortable. Thing along the lines of I don't feel like I understand South Korean sensibilities. It generally feels like a barrier in me connecting with most of the characters. I can think of that one black character as an example of not feeling comfortable with. And not getting into what felt like weird power shifts, where characters just start to pretty much use magic powers. It kind of feels like what you have from looking at early Dragon Ball where characters can't even fly or do ki blasts, and then later on everyone can do those things, except in a really short span here. Maybe there was some logic to how it was used here, with pretty much magic introduced, but I was not really interested enough to really be invested in it. My rating is Not really good (4/10), but not a total waste of time either, I just don't jam with this sort of thing. |

What hapened?????????? This show was the bomb, starting great mixing graphic fights and good story.
Then it became that jumble of what the worst action anime can give you. The end was so lackluster in originality, clearity and quality that i almost thought it was another serie all together. what a let down. |
