The production stack seems interesting. A nutritional supplement company president wrote/illustrated a manga, and the city of Kyoto is collaborating in the production somehow. I don't know of any company president that does manga on the side, that's for sure. I totally thought the animation studio would be a Kyoto-based one too but Noovo seems to be based in Tokyo according to their website. Said supplement company also has a bookstore in Kyoto.
Lots of interesting angles to dig at as to how they are bringing this project to life. I'm guessing the supplement company has a big stake in this; an unusual production committee for sure.
