The Russia population have nothing to do with the people who lead them.
It's like if we would stop all anime / streaming (and many more things) in America each time someone started a war for oil (and lying about weapon of mass destruction). Or elected someone like Trump.
I can't understand how people can be agree with all of that. I disagree with every invasion (by Russia, United States or any country), but I disagree to make people paid for the ones who lead them. Putin will not always be there, but Russia will.
Television, video games and art in general, is a way to keep a link with people all over the world, and sometime to share values like democracy and freedom. When you cut it, you cut links with the people better than the ones who lead these countries, and could one day be on our side. It's counterproductive. It's the cancel culture against people beause... of their origine or where they live. Are we really there?
My opinion.
My heart is with all the population who suffer, from Ukraine, Russia and elsewhere. But it's not with people who create contexts for war, from Russia, China, USA, NATO or elsewhere. Peace for all.

The main difference is America has all the power, wealth, and influence. How would other countries realistically bully the United States in the same way? Were the biggest economy in the world and hold all the cards. The only country that come close is China, which is why we see a lot of big companies bend the knee to them to appeal to that market, but otherwise the fact of the matter is when you're on top you get to throw your weight around. When America can represent 50% of any industry's market, it's hard to cut them off the same way you could smaller countries
