Volume 15 isn't the final one. It only goes to chapter 126.

It does. Just don't expect a conclusive ending. I haven't read the novels, but judging by their synopses the manga only covers up to the fifth of eight currently released volumes.
That said, I was satisfied with where the manga ended and don't feel inclined to continue.
