I wish this could get a second season, I really enjoyed it, and it ended on a cliffhanger. It might be my favourite MAPPA title this decade.

Agreed. Really enjoyed the series and would love to see it concluded.

Can we at least get an OVA to explain that they weren't really suffering that much and were mostly acting so that the ending of the anime isn't so damn depressing?
