I am reading the gantz`s manga and watched the first live-action and CGI anime. I don't know if it is well doing the same thing from the start again. May can be enjoyable the final of the main manga and other spin-offs.

After having read the main manga, having seen the movies and the anime, I have two favorite iterations of Gantz--the movies and this spin-off.
It's a shorter story, but centered around protagonists I found myself genuinely rooting for. And aside from a couple quick panty shots casually thrown in the beginning, this felt vastly less sexist and more respectful to its female characters than the main series, which helps since they predominantly make up the main heroes this time around.
