That was a really nice throwback to the classic action and Super Robot anime from the '70s and early '80s, I can see the inspirations being series like Mazinger Z, Grendizer, Combattler V and Gatchaman, among others. I would love to see a modern anime with the same artstyle as those from the '70s, could be like Gekiganger 3, the show within a show in Martian Successor Nadesico.
