^ Now I'm torn because I'm getting the Switch version for Rune Factory (collectors edition) but I was gonna double dip on Steam since I have a Steam deck along with 2 gaming PCs that could run it max but seeing that I have to pay yet another fee to update it's just ugh..I was thinking only Nintendo and companies like 2k would be doing that, not companies like Marvelous.
Game upgrades like this should be free ask any PC gamer worth their salt and they will tell you that they really need to add something to make it worth paying for.
Of course this is assuming I can get a S2

Looks like Marvelous announced that Guardians of Azuma would be getting a slight delay to match the Switch 2 launch - both versions will apparently be releasing on June 5th, per Gematsu. Which... eh, at least it's only a week.
I'm unlikely to get a Switch 2 at launch and will almost certainly just live with the technical limits of the game on Switch. As long as it runs better than RF5, I'm not that picky. Sucks that it's a paid upgrade for what sound like just performance boosts, especially since the special edition is Switch 1 exclusive.
