HOLY SHIT! Melda has appeared in 3199 finally! I hope Akira and Melda survives 3199. My favorite characters in the franchise. If they get killed off, it’ll automatically be the worst season and possibly worst anime of the decade. I hope they make it alive

Exactly! They want to focus more on other characters! Akira has been getting less screen time than ever before! Less than even her co pilots. That’s one of the many reasons why it’ll be stupid to kill off Akira and Melda. Even though I hope that’ll give them an advantage to survive 3199, I’m not letting my guard down and I hope they don’t kill them off or even one of them off. A spin off sequel with both of them as main characters but more specifically with Akira will benefit with not just their characters but the franchise in general. I would be bashing the hell out of the directors, writers and producers all over every single social media if they kill them off. On top of that, since the Garmillas planet went extinct, Melda would be a great member of the crew and they need both of them to survive. Fukui and the other director better not screw them over just like they have been screwing Kaoru since 2202. [/spoiler]
