I can never say no to more Garo (unless it's Versus Road).
I wonder if they'll bring back Kouga. |

I didn't see Versus Road but I learned just yesterday that there was another half-season last year for Ryuga Doga's incarnation. Aside from Rian, though, I never really warmed to that cast, so here's hoping this new work goes back to the Saejima family, whether it's Kouga, Raiga, or both.

Wanted to add this:
I just got to watch the first two new episodes of the new series, "GARO: Hagane wo Tsugu Mono" / "GARO: Inheritor of Steel" for free with (so-so) English subtitles via the GARO Project official YouTube Channel. All of the episodes are there subbed, but 3-12 currently require a membership. I don't know if the other episodes will remain pay-only, or if they'll rotate the free ones over time, but I thought it worth mentioning. I'll say this looks like a promising start, and the creature designers really earned their paychecks. The second and third horrors are two of the coolest designs I've seen in a while. |
