I've had a ton of fun with these movies, so I'm glad they're greenlighting more of them.

I misread this and thought Sonic 4 was delayed. This is certainly more interesting.
My guess is a Shadow or Knuckles solo film. Or Shadow & Knuckles.

As long as Dr.Eggman/Dr.Robotnik is in the story and he's played by Jim Carrey I'll keep watching them. I'll also settle for just Kenau Reeves as Shadow, again as long as the script calls for it. I'm just hoping for ANY of the female Sonic characters to get some screen time because it's a sausage fest out here.

Feels like Shadow is definitely a character they would feel confident in giving a spinoff film.

Against all odds, each Sonic movie was better than the last, so let's see if they can keep up that trend.

Fingers crossed that they keep the same actors and team behind the scenes, the Sonic movies have a good thing going on right now. The last thing they need is an unforced error.

It'll be interesting to see if they get him back again. I mean, he said he was retiring from acting all together after 2 came out and they managed to rope him in for 3 (and he died in both!). I imagine Paramount's gonna want to keep the money stream flowing though, and God knows the Sonic franchise has enough characters to keep that stream going if they just keep adding one new one per film like they have been. If they don't get Carrey back I'm curious as to where the series will go from there. Sonic as a series doesn't really have villains outside of Eggman, and when it does it's usually only because Eggman somehow unleashed them in an act of hubris. I guess they've got that Agent Stone guy, but I feel like even he can only be the villain for so long (especially since I'm sure Sega will want Paramount to use a more "canon" character)

You can never have too much sausage, only too little room on the plate.
