I guess I am the only person who dislikes Senpei. I get the reason why she acts this way but she comes off as too harsh and unlikeable sometimes. In real life I would avoid someone like her like the plague. Frankly I am getting tired of the "tsundere office girl and spineless young man romance " sub genre.

"It just takes so long for there to be any real progress that feels emotionally satisfying to read and a lot of that does come down to Kannawa's character. While I understand why she is the way that she is, the series really drags out her emotional development and seems to swing back-and-forth with regards to what direction it wants to take her."
In other words, it is realistic. This is actually what people that are trying to change long-established personality and character traits to through. People have been claiming for ages on the need for more realistic shonen and young seinen romance in order for it to be more like shoujo and josei. Well this is what it looks like. For Kannawa's change to take any less time than it took Nodame of Nodame Cantabile - that show got 3 seasons that depicted 6 or 7 years across two continents - and Nodame's character development wasn't completed until after her last emotional breakdown that took place in the final episode of the last season! If this work follows Nodame Cantabile then all the better.

"Realism" is overrated. There is a reason why people prefer to read something like Tank Chair instead of looking up local news reports.
