I was certain that when the anime wrapped up it had covered the whole series since the finale was very final, so seeing that the Light Novels are only now ending at 13 volumes makes me think the anime covered maybe a third of the story content. For anyone that knows, how much of the series did the anime cover?

I actually just caught up on the English releases (up to volume 8), the Anime covered volumes 1-3.

That makes sense. Anime typically cover about 3 volumes in a season, but man did the finale feel like the end of the series and not the end of the first arc. I wonder if we'll get more since I know I really enjoyed it.

I hope so. There's some interesting developments in the later volumes that would make for a compelling season.
At the very least, I would love a physical release of season 1 on blu ray in the US.
