Some of Vermeer's works including "Girl with a Pearl Earring" were exhibited in Tokyo in 2012, and I purchased a CD "Vermeer and Escher" by Joe Hisaishi, which I have not seen elsewhere.
This exhibition will apparently be the last time that "Girl with a Pearl Earring" will come to Japan. Ticket prices are listed: https://vermeer2026.exhibit.jp/tickets/ including 3000 yen for adults, with tickets being for specific time periods to avoid overcrowding. |

If this sparks interest in Vermeer's work, it'll be worth it. Also Rembrandt, they produced my favorite paintings... BTW, I think Frieren looks great with that look too, but it doesn't say the same thing as the original...
