Since this chart only counts boxed retail sales, what's missed is how well Forza Horizon 6 sold digitally in Japan - it's likely the best-selling game in Japan that week!
Data shows that Xbox gamers across console, PC, and cloud really showed up for Forza, accounting for 42% of copies sold (almost 2.1M) versus Steam’s 2.8M (yet the Xbox version of FH6 is actually generating more revenue - Xbox accounts for 51% of total gross revenue, against Steam’s 49%) Of that 2.8M Steam buyers, China is the #2 Steam market for FH6, with Japan (#4) and Brazil (#6) Japan coming in at #4 on Steam, is significantly up from #8 for FH5 and a whole percentage point more audience share – no surprise given the Japan setting of FH6 Edit: Latest news is that Xbox buyers have overtaken Steam buyers, with over half the 6.4M sold so far, plus almost 6M also playing via Game Pass
