Yes, Viz has the rights to both the anime and manga, so it is coming... (eventually)

The anime was done TERRIBLY! It was so poorly drawn that I couldn't even stand to watch it. It made Saturday morning cartoons look half decent. It looks like the animation was done by two seperate studios because the characters don't even look the same from episode to episode. In some Recca is taller than everybody and shorter in others. It was just too weird. I had better things to waste my time on.
Now the manga....AWESOME! I read all the manga before I watched the beginning of the anime. I highly recommend buying this manga.

ehh... I wouldn't go that far in bashing the anime... For most of us (myself included) it was the anime we saw first. And I don't have that many issues with the way it was animated (it wasn't perfect mind you) but rather with the adaptation of the story. when it got towards the end of the anime itself, it not only left out important parts found in the manga, but it started doing its own thing.
After I read all the manga, much later, I was disappointed with the anime, but I wouldn't shred it down to being terrible. Just average for the time it came out.
