It's at times like this that I miss being able to visit Kinokuniya...

Sweet licenses, especially the art books. Nice to see that Viz has plans of extending the Signature line beyond the currently running titles or reprints of PULP books.

I told 'em Real was the way to go. Anyway, I'm surprised no one asked them about the format for SD. [I.E. regular trade, or wideban?]

Oh wow, this is awesome news. Very Happy

I guess I missed the in-store event, which is pretty lame because I was there on Friday to check whether they updated the event schedule to include the time. It still said Tuesday, 11/20. Razz

Inoue's most worthwhile titles have now been brought over!

Glad as hell that Viz has licensed both. I've been wanting to import the art books but won't have to worry about that issue. REAL fits like a velvet glove for their Signature Line; it'll be nice to see it alongside Vagabond and 20th Century Boys.

Hear's hoping that Viz continues to build their Signature line up some more.

It looks like Inoue's rather long visit in the U.S. provided the additional spur for Viz to release his other works. But of course, it may well be that Viz planned to release these works long before Inoue's visit.

In any case, I want to join the chorus of cheers for this good news. I used to be content that Viz finally decided to release Slam Dunk, thinking that it would eventually lead to the release of other and better works of Inoue. Now Real and Inoue's artbooks will be released. This is great news indeed.

Didn't know about the Vagabond omnibus thing. It might work, but I like 'em more as individual books. Anyway, it'll be good for the series.
