I'm interested in the RahXephon novelization, but I've heard differing reports as to how good the books really are. All the reviews I've read highlight the editing problems, but what I'd really like to know is if they're worth buying for a fan of the series. I can overlook typos if the underlying story is good.
So have you read them? What did you think? |

Well, there are typos, and then there are typos. And it's true that you can overlook certain typos if the story is good. But when the typos are so bad that they affect the story directly, and cause it to stop making sense ... that's when you have to back away.
I love RahXephon to pieces, and I would read it on toilet paper if I had to, but the DrMaster translations of the novels are not something I would wish on anyone. |

That's pretty sad. I also love the series, but I guess I'll be skipping out on the books.

I haven't heard good things about the novels, the manga, or even the movie for that matter. I'll just stick with the anime, I guess.

The movie is good in its own way, but it's nothing compared to the series. |
