You know how you watch an anime and you really get into it, but you find yourself calling this person by the name of a person in a different anime.
I know it's just a coincidence, but hey, that's what I love. Well, I love irony more but oh well. Just to get you started off, Nodoka from Mahou Sensei Negima and Shinobu from Love Hina. Also, Ku fei from Mahou and Kaolla from Love Hina. p.s. I know this is completely off topic but, does anyone know a good tutorial site on how to draw bishies.....or men in general? I can draw girls, it's just the men that bother me.... |

The first example of "look-alikes in anime" that came to mind is...
Ichigo Kurosaki (Bleach) and Kenta Usui (Karin/Chibi Vampire). They're basically identical twins, except for different looking eyes.Their extreme similarity certainly made me do a triple take. Another one that came to mind just now is... Simon the Digger (Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann) and Ryu 1/8192 (Breath of Fire: Dragon Quarter). Okay, so one's from a video game... but they're STILL pretty darn similar, appearance-wise. Same blue hair, extremely similar coat, both wear some sort of glasses/goggles... and finally, both lived underground at some point. |

This is an actual person who resembles an anime character, at least I think so. I couldn't find pictures that show it too well, but Teddy Geiger (singer) looks a lot like Sanada Yukimura from Samurai Deeper Kyo. It's something about the eyes. It's easier to tell if you watch one of his videos after seeing SDK.

Not really that much of a coincidence due to them being from series by the same mangaka. Like, half the characters from Negima are lightly modified designs of Love Hina characters. |

Rei Ayanami from neon genesis evangelion and Kisaragi Ninomai from happy lessons. i did a double take the first time i saw her and said to my self " what am i watching why is she here? "

[b]spike from cowboy bebop and mugen from samurai champloo kinda look alike. And of course because the same team makes the shows. And also all the characters from lost universe and slayers-again the whole same team thing.

Spike from Cowboy Bebop and Jet from Avatar: The Last Airbender look nearly the same, although I think this really is an homage - not totally sure, though.
Ishida Uryuu from Bleach and the friend of Ogami's mom in Ghost Hound also look very similar. |

I believe either I responded to it or I might have started. I really don't remember anymore. As for anime character look alikes I found that Satsuki Kitaouji from Ichigo 100% and Miki Hashiba from Suzuka looked fairly alike. Just to throw it in but don't people find that Sakura from Card Captor Sakura and Sakura from Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle look alike? I mean like....whoa.... spoiler[Obviously I'm being sarcastic ]

I'm reminded of the one time I found what I thought was a very cute chibi-ish Roy/Riza fanart, only to realize later on closer inspection that it was actually Roy/Ed. -shudder-
Anyway, there seem to be a ton of characters in Ghost Hound who look like people from other I.G series; Sanae (Makoto's mom) looks like Yuuko from xxxHoLiC, Masayuki's mom looks like one of the AI Operators from GitS: SAC, and even Komagusu-san looks sort of like a younger version of Dr. Asuda, the guy who developed the tachikomas. There's also a striking similarity between Vanilla H from Galaxy Angel and Iron Maiden Jeanne from Shaman King. |

Oh geez, why did I see this coming..... *facepalm* I mean seriously, where does it end man! 
Anyways, there's a few characters where I can't think of their names that I can think of. It's mostly because of it being the same artist, but there's a character in Hunter X Hunter I remember looking very much like Genkai from Yu Yu Hakusho. Then in Kekkaishi, there's a member of the Kokuboro that is almost a complete Rukia (Bleach) lookalike. |

Spike from Cowboy Bebop and Shuji Hanamoto from Honey and Clover. The fact that they both smoke doesn't harm the similarity.

There's an ad up in the Atlanta subways right now that has a picture of a woman that totally looks like Arisa from Fruits Basket (when she puts her hair up). Just weird. Maybe it's something about the expression...
