Well I was just re-reading volume 3 of DeathNote and I wanted to start up a discussion concerning an event that occurs near the end of the volume and whether it was changed in the Anime (as you can guess I have yet to watch the Anime beyond episode 1).
Well here it is:
In volume 3 of DeathNote during the whole incident at Sakura TV Ukita is seen to go to Sakura TV and dies of a heart attack by Misa's notebook. Now as the manga makes it clear, Ukita's body is left in front of the doors of Sakura TV. Later on it is shown that Ukita's body has been removed and Chief Yagami drives through the same entrance to enter Sakura TV. I know its not addressed in the manga but what happens to Ukita's body? Is this plot hole addressed in the Anime?

Actually, this point is addressed in the manga. On page 146 ( right after Sakura TV showed Ukita laying dead in front of the building) in the bottom panel another news station reports that paramedics arrived to removed the body. They also show the paramedics carting him off on one of L's screens (in the same panel). I thought this would be easily overlooked by the creators but researching it made me appreciate the detail that went into this manga.
As far as the anime goes, I wasn't paying full atention during the broadcast but they may have done something similar.

However the issue with the manga is that a page or 2 after Ukita dies, Chief Yagami arrives in the armoured car at the same entrance. In between those pages it isn't addressed as to what had happened to the body. Later on it is seen that Ukita's body has been removed by paramedics but is this shown before Chief Yagami's arrival at Sakura TV in the Anime?

this is not really a plot hole. How they remove the body has nothing to do with the plot.
This is the same as Naomi Misora(the FBI Japanese girlfriend)
How she kill herself and where is her body is not important to the story.

It is when Chief Yagami enters Sakura TV via the same entrance Ukita dies in front of.
Regardless whether or not you see it as a plot hole you haven't really contributed anything towards my opening post, so refrain from posting a comment like that unless you have something to add to respond to my opening post.

No, that's called a continuity error, not a plot hole. What you're doing is calling a hemorrhoid a scarlet rectal volcano.

I'll try one more time.
Ukita's body is removed by paramedics before Chief Yagami ever gets there. This explains why he's not there in the truck scene. Because it was paramedics that removed him, the reader (if (s)he chooses to care) can assume that they did with the body what paramedics usually do with bodies.
There is no plot hole. The situation makes sense (at least to me). Or maybe I'm missing the point.
Just trying to help.

Wait, don't the Japanese have Coroners or Undertakers for that sort of job?

Sure they do, but paramedics can and often do perform that job. It's the same way here.

Where is here? Because when my great uncle called 911 when he found my great aunt in her rocking chair, not breathing, when he woke up in the morning, the paramedics declared her DOA and said that they were not allowed to move dead bodies before promptly leaving.
