All of the sites I checked haven't had this in stock for a while. Does Media Blasters usually let stuff go out of print once an item sells out of its first print run, or will they replicate more copies eventually? I would like to buy this on blu-ray. However, at this rate I may as well buy the DVD collection before that goes out of print and I can't get the show at all.

I don't think it's out of print, it's just taking Media Blasters a really long time to print more copies. I don't know why. I've been wanting this since it came out too. But RACS currently does have it in stock here, for a good price too (!):

Make sure you contact RACS before you order. I tried ordering in September and the site said instock, but I got an email saying it was backordered.

Yes on technically being OOP. MB had noted that there would be another print run, but that mentioned back in the summer. It's still currently not in-stock with Allegro (MB's distributor). It remains to be seen when this will be replenished to the various online retailers.

I had put an order at RACS about 6 weeks ago since it said it was in stock and got an email saying that it was shipping, then a second one saying it was back ordered. My suspicion is that if they make more we still wont see the copies till next year.

It looks like Allegro has gotten their copies of Part 1. I would assume that the various online retailers will (slowly) get this.

RACS just informed me that they were told last week to expect their copies before the end of the year. So I guess that means they will receive a shipment this week or next.

Well, mine just shipped out from TRSI the other day, so I would expect others to, as well.

I just got my copy from RACS in today, so it seems things are finally shipping. Now I just gotta make time to rewatch the show.
